AlarmedI swear, everyday fanfiction.net is filled with fangirl a.k.a. HORRIBLE stories. I mean stories of:
"THIS IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL HIGH SCHOOL STORY! SORA IS A PUNK, KAIRI'S A CHEERLEADER, AND RIKU'S A JOCK. BUT WILL SORA'S DARK PAST REVEAL SOMETHING?"
or
"SORA AND OTHERS THINK IT'S ALL OVER. BUT WHEN DARKNESS COME AGAIN, WHAT WILL THEY DO? AND WHO IS THIS GIRL? RIKU X OC"
or
"RIKU IS A VAMPIRE WHO MEETS THE YOUNG INNOCENT SORA!"
or
"MY FRIENDS AND I GET STUCK IN KINGDOM HEARTS! WHAT WILL HAPPEN!"
You get the point, right? Frinkin same story plot lines! ARGH. And what's with this sudden burst of OCs? I Despise OCs. I swear, every new story is the same. Seriously. Makes me want to cry.
Nowadays I look at the reviews left the determine the quality of fanfics. If the story's filled with "ZOMG I LURVE THIZ STORI PLZ CONTINUE!" or that sort, I won't read it. But if the reviews are long and seem reasonably mature, then I'll give the story a try.
Thank the Lord at least two awesome story writers are still here, if not somewhat inactive.
